    Your life is constantly under construction. There is always something to improve. In the Construction Technologies Program students explore skills, materials, methods, and processes that will provide them with career awareness. Students will obtain a basic knowledge of construction trade skills through hands-on experience in a lab setting, with emphasis on the safe use of hand tools, portable power tools, and stationary power equipment. Students will develop workplace skills through career and job exploration, leadership style and techniques, construction economy, organization, oral/written communications, and mathematics related to the industry.


    The sequence of courses:

    • Year 1: Construction Technology 1-2
    • Year 2: Construction Technology 3-4

    Optional courses beyond sequence:

    • Construction Technology 5-6
    • Construction Technology 7-8
