Welcome to McClintock Swim and Dive

  • The McClintock Swim & Dive Team has a great traditional and a long history of excellence. Over the years McClintock Swimmers and Divers have achieved All-American Honors with many of them continuing to swim or dive at the collegiate level. Chargers have also been represented at National Meets including Olympic Trials and World Championship Trials. The team competes at the Division I level which is the highest level recognized by the AIA for high school swimming in Arizona. Our Boys/Girls Swim & Dive Team is the winningest sports team on the McClintock Campus.

The McClintock Swim & Dive Coaching Staff is always looking for new team members. Swimming & Diving is a Varsity Sport and is a Fall Sport. All interested students should have basic swimming knowledge and must be able to swim.  Divers should have some basic knowledge about diving, gymnastics or tumbling. Prior competitive experience is not required but it helps. Practices are everyday Monday through Friday immediately after school with occasional optional Saturday swim practices. Optional morning swimming practices are offered before school for additional work or if a student has a school conflict and can’t make the afternoon practice.

As a team we have a lot of fun with a variety of team activities throughout the season. Our swimmers/divers work hard not only to get better in the pool but we work on becoming dedicated, responsible, accountable and self reliant young men and women.
