Marketing Program

  • DECA Students Program description:
    The Marketing Program is an exciting, hands-on program that prepares students for a variety of business careers. By providing practical business knowledge, real-world projects, guest speakers, industry tours and competitions, students are able to apply classroom learning to everyday life in order to advance their college and career opportunities. DECA, our student organization, offers Marketing students the opportunity to network with professionals from industry, practice applying their business knowledge through travel, projects, and competitions while gaining valuable real-world experience to build their professional skills.


    The sequence of courses:

    • Year 1 – Marketing 1-2 or Honors Marketing 1-2
    • Year 2 – Advanced Business Marketing or Honors Advanced Business Marketing

    Optional courses beyond sequence:

    • Sports and Entertainment Marketing
    • Hospitality and Tourism Marketing

    Post-Secondary pathways: 
    All business courses offer dual credit through Rio Salado College.
