Congratulations to our TUHSD 2022 National Merit Semifinalists!

Congratulations to our 2022 National Merit Semifinalists!

This year 19 Tempe Union students from Corona del Sol, Desert Vista, McClintock, and Mountain Pointe high schools are in the running for the National Merit Scholarship program. Students are selected for this program based on their PSAT scores, which are amongst the top in the state of Arizona.

These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $32 million that will be offered next spring. To be considered for the National Merit Scholarship, Semifinalists must complete an application. Winners will be chosen from the Finalist group based on their abilities, skills, and academic accomplishments.
