• PPA Students

"Here you're free to be yourself, broaden your horizons, and reach for the sky. There are schools, there are communities, and then there is the Payne Academy."
    Abby Wiley, Class of 2014

"PPA is a great program because it allows students who care about learning and their education to meet other students who feel the same way."
    Julia Weiss, Class of 2015

    Flinn Scholars

Since our founding, PPA is proud to have been home to three Flinn Scholars. Two additional students were awarded a Flinn but decided to pursue education outside Arizona.

"Being in the Peggy Payne Academy was an obvious choice because I wanted a challenge. PPA allowed me to take difficult classes and surround myself with students who were as academically motivated as me while still having access to all the extracurricular opportunities of a large high school. I am certain that without the opportunities I have had through PPA, I would not be where I am today."

    Meera Doshi, 2013 Flinn Scholar
