About The Peggy Payne Academy

  • PPA Students

    •  "Here you're free to be yourself, broaden your horizons, and reach for the sky. There are schools, there are communities, and then there is the Payne Academy." ~ Abby Wiley, Class of 2014
    • "PPA is a great program because it allows students who care about learning and their education to meet other students who feel the same way." ~ Julia Weiss, Class of 2015

    Flinn Logo Flinn Scholars

Since our founding, PPA is proud to have been home to three Flinn Scholars. Two additional students were awarded a Flinn but decided to pursue education outside Arizona.
    •  "Being in the Peggy Payne Academy was an obvious choice because I wanted a challenge. PPA allowed me to take difficult classes and surround myself with students who were as academically motivated as me while still having access to all the extracurricular opportunities of a large high school. I am certain that without the opportunities I have had through PPA, I would not be where I am today."  ~ Meera Doshi, 2013 Flinn Scholar
