Miss Temako J. Roque is extremely honored to join the staff of Desert Vista High School. She looks forward to continuing the legacy of excellence established at DVHS by building strong relationships with parents, students, staff, and community partners. She is anticipating a successful year as we work as a team to support the academic, social, and emotional growth of your child.

Prior to joining Tempe Union High School District, Temako has served in a variety of teaching and educational leadership roles over the past 26 years to include classroom teacher, assistant principal and school principal in the metro Phoenix area. She is a graduate of South Mountain High School and holds degrees from the University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University, and the American College of Education.

Throughout the years, she has had the privilege to serve many students, families, and community members. Miss Roque is committed to preparing students for college, career, and life. She believes every student deserves to receive high-quality instruction and wants students to take advantage of every opportunity available to them during their high school career.
