- Summer Homework Packet
DV Honors Algebra 2 | Summer Homework Packet
-
All students taking Honors Algebra 2 or Precalculus as their next math class are required to review prerequisite math concepts during the summer and to be ready to take a test over these concepts during the first week of the course. These concepts are fundamental skills that will help set the stage for success in both Honors Algebra 2 and Precalculus. Reviewing these concepts is an essential part of preparing students to be successful in their next math course.
Instead of a summer homework packet, we now ask students to use our online math review library.
To access the review material, you can browse online to:
www.mrfelling.com/library
This website will contain further instructions about how students can use this library to review math concepts important for their next year math course.
Calculators
-
A graphing calculator is required for this course. We strongly recommend that you purchase a Ti-83 or Ti-84 before the start of year rush. These are user-friendly calculators made by Texas Instruments. They are often advertised with back-to-school sales. It is essential to have your calculator and become familiar with it before the start of the school year.
Working diligently on the summer review homework and obtaining a graphing calculator will set the stage for your success in your math course!
