East Valley Institute of Technology

East Valley Institute of Technology, EVIT is a public, joint technological education district (JTED) that serves students from ten East Valley school districts.Students from Tempe can spend a half-day at EVIT in a technological program and the other half-day at their home high school. All 11th and 12th-grade students can attend tuition-free if they have met the class prerequisites. Free busing is provided to and from EVIT by the Tempe Union HS district for most programs.Students are encouraged to pre-register for EVIT courses during the regular spring registration process at their home school. Students pre-registering will receive follow-up information during the summer. Visit the EVIT website at www.evit.com for additional information.

The bus pickup and drop-off location is at the DV bus circle off 32nd St. and Liberty Lane. Please visit the district transportation website for more information at https://www.tempeunion.org/TransportationEVIT afternoon students only- You will need to leave your 3rd-period class at 11:10 am to ensure you arrive at the bus pickup on time. Desert Vista HS teachers have been informed about the early dismal time for 3rd period.
