Welcome to Mountain Pointe Academics! 

My name is Shoshana Cleary and I am excited to be part of the Mountain Pointe Pride Community. Like most, I am a transplant to Arizona from Massachusetts and have called the Valley home since 1992. I am a graduate of the University of Arizona and completed two Masters degrees at the University of Phoenix. I’ve been in education for 18 years and have worked as an administrator since 2007. I began my career in the Higley Unified School District at Higley High School teaching English and coaching girls basketball. I completed my second Masters degree in 2006 and began working in administration at two K – 8 schools. I knew I wanted to be back at the high school level, so I joined the administrative team at Williams Field High School in 2009. After taking some time off after having my daughter in 2011, I joined Mesa Public Schools at Westwood High School, where I served as an assistant principal for the last six years. As a member of the Ahwatukee community, I am so happy to be joining the Mountain Pointe team.

I’ve been married to my husband, Kevin, for 12 years and we have one daughter, Teagan, who is 7. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, watching football, and spending time with my family and friends.
