    Sports medicine is a CTE course for students interested in learning about sports medicine. This course will provide material focused on important concepts and methods used in sports medicine. Topics include the roles of various sports medicine personnel, basic anatomy. Medical terminology, understanding different athletic injuries, prevention of athletic injuries, rehabilitation of athletic injuries and emergency care.


    The sequence of courses:

    • Year 1 – Sports Medicine 1-2
    • Year 2 – Sports Medicine 3-4

    Optional courses beyond sequence:

    • Sports Medicine 5-6
