Marcos de Niza has a 30-year history of growth and success. We cultivate respect for diversity, having the largest multicultural student population in TUHSD. Our students interact daily in a diverse, real-world environment.
Our academics are second-to-none, we have a storied history of athletic success and students travel from all over the Valley to be a part of our award-winning musical productions and performing arts programs. Marcos has established a business academy in partnership with Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business making MDN the place to go if you want to major in business.
As Padres, we enter and carry ourselves with pride and respect, aiming to fulfill our mission to “Target the Future.”
Beautiful, modern, and functional schools are our hallmark. Our comprehensive high schools, set on 50- to 75-acre campuses, include Corona del Sol High School, Desert Vista High School, Marcos de Niza High School, McClintock High School, Mountain Pointe High School, and Tempe High School. Compadre High School is the District’s non-traditional high school. Peggy Payne Academy serves gifted students and is located on the McClintock campus. The International Baccalaureate (applicant program) is located on the Tempe High School Campus.
