Established in 1964, McClintock has a long history of academic and athletic excellence. Our diverse student population reflects more than 20 spoken languages. A comprehensive curriculum is offered for students including honors, advanced placement, and dual-credit courses.

The Peggy Payne Academy, located on the McClintock campus, is designed for the gifted student who prefers a smaller “school within a school” environment. Students are provided with a rigorous curriculum, career-shadowing opportunities, internships, and a personalized learning environment.

We’re proud of our past and excited for our future, which is why we are “Charging forward with tradition.”

Beautiful, modern, and functional schools are our hallmark. Our comprehensive high schools, set on 50- to 75-acre campuses, include Corona del Sol High School, Desert Vista High School, Marcos de Niza High School, McClintock High School, Mountain Pointe High School, and Tempe High School. Compadre High School is the District’s non-traditional high school. Peggy Payne Academy serves gifted students and is located on the McClintock campus. The International Baccalaureate (applicant program) is located on the Tempe High School Campus.
