TUHSD Health & Safety During COVID-19
Updated: October 14, 2020, at 9:47 AM
TUHSD will begin a hybrid learning model on October 13. This means that students will be divided into two groups - A and B. Students from “A” group will attend in-person on Monday & Tuesday. Students from “B” group will attend in-person on Thursday & Friday. Students will learn in a virtual setting on the days they are not on campus, in addition to Wednesdays’, which will be virtual and asynchronous for all, in order to allow for cleaning in between the cohort groups. All class schedules will remain intact for students learning in the hybrid model.
Additional information on your cohort assignment will come from your school site. In addition, parents who wish for their students to remain in virtual instruction mode have that option. All parents received a Learning Choice survey link in order to inform schools of their choice.

On August 5, TUHSD's Governing Board voted on a resolution to remain in virtual instruction mode for the duration of the first quarter, pending the community meeting the reopening metrics from the Arizona Department of Health Services (weblink).
As a reminder, on-site services began on Monday, August 17. Additional information on on-site services, including the categories of students who will receive priority, can be found here.
