The Community Relations Department is responsible for District communications, public/media relations, public information, and marketing. We promote the Tempe Union High School District, its students, and staff. We celebrate and share their outstanding programs, activities, and accomplishments with our community.
We produce and distribute news releases to print, television, and digital media. We respond to media inquiries and work with the media to disseminate emergency notifications.
The Community Relations Department is committed to building relationships with our communities and businesses to support and advocate for district goals. We host annual events that honor our mission of “Excellence in Teaching and Learning.”
We design marketing and recruiting materials such as brochures, flyers, advertisements, and videos. We are also responsible for managing the content and design of the District website and social media sites. We ensure access to public records and are responsible for public information requests.
We encourage parents and the public to engage with us and welcome your comments, suggestions, and ideas for providing information to our students, staff, and community.
