The Corona del Sol High School Hall of Fame was launched in December 2013 with the inaugural induction of four legendary Aztecs: CdS first principal Mr. James Love, six-time state champion coach Mr. Larry Hughes, four-time state champion coach Mr. Sam Duane, and superior student and multi-sport star as well as Tempe All City Athlete of the Year, Ms. Jennifer Helfrich Leo.We are very pleased to get our Hall of Fame started and are looking forward to highlighting the very best students and staff who have made Corona del Sol an outstanding comprehensive high school.CdS Hall of Fame Nominees include four categories: student-athlete, student-academic or activities, coach, and teacher/administrator/staff. Nominations will be accepted throughout the year, but they will be reviewed by the selection committee only once at the end of each school year on a date to be determined by the principal.Nominations are not retroactive; a new application form must be submitted if a nominee is to be considered on repeat occasions. Application forms are available on the CdS web site; they may be downloaded below and submitted to the CdS Athletic Director.
