Public Notices & Governing Board Meetings

Public Meeting Notices | Governing Board meetings will be held in the Governing Board Room of the Benedict Education Center: 500 W. Guadalupe Rd. Tempe, AZ 85283.
The meeting will be open to the public. Seating capacity is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. The meeting will also be live-streamed on the District YouTube channel. Please note that masks are no longer mandatory on district property.- Next Regular Governing Board Meeting: April 3, 2024 | 7 PM

The Corona del Sol AZTech Robotics (Team 6479) will be hosting the FIRST Robotics Arizona East Regional Competition on March 20-23, 2024!

SEA Registration Opens Monday, February 12, and Closes on March 29, 2024.
In-Person Session Dates (Held at Desert Vista High School):
- Session I: May 28 – June 12, 2024
- Session II: June 13 – 28, 2024
Online Session Dates:
- Class 1: May 28 – June 12, 2024
- Class 2: June 13 – 28, 2024
Registration Steps:
Step 1: Fill out the SEA Registration - Google form or you can do so by scanning the QR code on this screen with your mobile device.
Step 2: A counselor will verify the submitted registration form.
Step 3: An e-mail will be sent with confirmation of registration.**Please submit the form only ONE time. If you need to make any corrections or changes, e-mail your counselor instead of submitting another form.

Students are NOT allowed to take both in-person and online at the same time.

GIFTED TESTING:
Gifted testing is for students in 8th grade or above. Students who are interested in attending either the Peggy Payne Academy for gifted students, located at McClintock, or Pride’s Peak Gifted & Talented Academy, located at Mountain Pointe, should take this test.
The registration process begins early, so students are encouraged to register for a spring testing session.
