The May 2020 examinations as scheduled between April 30, 2020 and May 22, 2020 for Diploma Programme and Career-related Programme candidates will no longer be held. Depending on what they registered for, the student will be awarded a Diploma or a Course Certificate which reflects their standard of work. This is based on student's coursework and the established assessment expertise, rigor and quality control already built into the programmes. About the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program at Tempe High School
The IB Diploma Program is a rigorous college-prep program designed for highly motivated students interested in a challenging educational experience with an international perspective. Founded in Switzerland in 1968, there are currently over 2,800 IB schools worldwide that offer the IB Diploma. Our aim is to develop students who are knowledgeable, inquiring, compassionate, and who will use cultural understanding and respect to create a more peaceful world.
Tempe High School is located near downtown Tempe and was the first high school in the city. An A-rated school by the Arizona Department of Education, we offer a variety of academic programs for all grade levels including IB and AP courses, HOPE, AVID, and dual enrollment. We also offer athletic programs, visual and performing arts, and many clubs.
