Fentanyl Facts

  • Overview:

During the 22/23 school year, a cross-collaborative group of students from Corona del Sol High School and McClintock High School began working on a fentanyl awareness campaign called “No Second Chance”. Staff members from the District’s Social Emotional Wellness team, as well as the Community Relations team, worked closely with the students throughout the year as they developed the different elements of the awareness campaign.

The goal of the campaign was to understand the level of awareness of the dangers of fentanyl and promote additional awareness and education among students and the wider TUHSD community. Experts from the Tempe Coalition, The Pathway Program, and Tempe Police Department all lent their support to this project.
