Arts Proficiency Program

Arts Seal of Proficiency Introduction:

The Arizona Arts Seal of Proficiency program recognizes high school students who achieve a high level of proficiency in The Arts. The seal is placed upon the student's diploma and noted on their transcript.

To earn the Arts Seal of Proficiency students must complete a rigorous, standards-based, and high-quality arts education course of studies such as Music, Dance, Media Arts, Theatre and Visual Arts Students will work with an Arts Advisor (Teacher) in their discipline of arts study. Tempe Union High School District students who are interested in applying to earn the Arizona Arts Seal of Proficiency are encouraged to apply (please check back for more information).

All required documents and instructions are available from the AZ Dept. of Education.
The final due date for all documentation in Canvas is March 2, 2026.
