Circle of Nations

CircleofNations_MPConcept (PDF)
The Circle of Nations Pathway Program is a learning track within Mountain Pointe High School designed to support Native American students. It combines strong academics with opportunities to learn from tribal elders, community partners, and culturally enriched projects in English and Social Studies.

The program is open to any student but it is specifically tailored towards Native American students. Students from the Gila River Indian Community, Salt River Pima-Maricopa, Pascua Yaqui, Navajo, Tohono O’odham Nation, Ak-Chin Indian Community, and other tribes are encouraged to apply.

Students in the Circle of Nations Pathway Program: Take English and Social Studies courses with culturally enriched learning and hands-on projects. Have access to the Momentum Room, where students can recover credits or even take college courses. Work with mentors from Native organizations, ASU, and tribal communities.
