Native American Education

The Native American Education Program proudly serves all American Indian students, with or without a census number. Our program is designed to support student success through a range of academic and enrichment services tailored to individual needs. These services include free tutoring at most campuses, assistance with the transition to higher education, coverage of most academic course fees, and an annual Student Recognition Program.

In addition, each student has access to a dedicated Program Specialist who provides guidance and support to help them achieve their academic goals.

To begin receiving services, families are asked to complete the required forms for Title VI or Johnson-O’Malley services. As Tempe Union High School District is not a unified district with its feeder elementary schools, registration is required at the high school level. We encourage you to complete and return the forms prior to the start of the school year to ensure timely access to services.
