  • TUHSD Issues Clarification Statement on Required Mask Usage

    April 23, 2021- During the afternoon of Monday, April 19, 2021, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey issued Executive Order 2021-10 which rescinded the portion of Executive Order 2020-51 which required school districts and charter schools to adopt policies requiring the use of cloth face coverings.   • Governing Board Unanimously Adopts a Social-Emotional Wellness Resolution

    April 22, 2021- Tempe Union High School District’s Governing Board unanimously adopted a social-emotional wellness resolution at their meeting on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Board member Armando Montero has been a vocal advocate for the promotion of social-emotional wellness during his time as a board member and campaign, as well as during his time as a Desert Vista High School student.

  • Congratulations to our TUHSD 2021 Flinn Scholarship winners!

    April 28, 2021- Congratulations to Mitch Zakocs from Mountain Pointe and Maya Steinberg from Tempe High for being named as 2 of the 20 Flinn Scholars for the Class of 2021! This year, 6 Tempe Union students from Corona del Sol, Desert Vista, Mountain Pointe, and Tempe High were announced as semifinalists for the Flinn Scholarship Program, and these two outstanding students were selected as scholarship winners!
