  • Tempe High School Selects Todd Hanley as Next Head Football Coach

    January 21, 2021- Tempe High School has selected Todd Hanley as their next Head Football coach. The recommendation of Hanley for the open position is pending approval by the Tempe Union High School District Governing Board. The next scheduled meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.

  • Tempe High School to Dedicate New Stadium Field

    November 4, 2020 – Tempe High School will dedicate their new stadium field on Friday, November 6, 2020 during halftime of their football game against visiting Arcadia High School. Game kick-off will be at 7 PM. Brief remarks and a ceremonial ribbon cutting will take place at halftime to dedicate the new field.

  • Late Tempe High Teacher Honored as Dia de los Muertos Tradition Continues

    October 16, 2020- The Tempe High Buffaloes have a unique school tradition that resides in the library around this time every year. The beautiful display is known as an altar de ofrendas, or an altar of offerings, which is a rich tradition in Hispanic culture and is utilized to celebrate Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. This year’s altar de ofrendas carries an extra, bittersweet weight as the center of the altar is the late Sam Robinson, a forever THS teacher, Track coach and MEChA Club sponsor.
