Chargers Select Mike Fell as Next Head Football Coach
February 17, 2022 – McClintock High School announced today that they will formally recommend Mike Fell as their next head football coach. The recommendation of Fell for the open position is pending final approval by the Tempe Union High School District Governing Board.

TUHSD Students Honored at the 2021 Tempe Festival of the Arts Competition!
December 10, 2021- Congratulations to the following TUHSD art students from Desert Vista, Marcos de Niza, and McClintock High School who were selected as winners in the Tempe Festival of the Arts competition! Student work was displayed over the weekend during the festival in the Young Artist Exhibit.

Congratulations to our 2022 National Merit Semifinalists!
September 29, 2021- Congratulations to our 2022 National Merit Semifinalists! This year 19 Tempe Union students from Corona del Sol, Desert Vista, McClintock, and Mountain Pointe high schools are in the running for the National Merit Scholarship program. Students are selected for this program based on their PSAT scores, which are amongst the top in the state of Arizona.

Professional Dancer, Joshua Rivera, Teaches Hamilton Dance Combination to Charger Dancers!
September 17, 2021- On Tuesday, September 14, 2021, the Charger Dancers were visited by Joshua Rivera! Rivera has a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Loyola Marymount University. Regionally, he has performed in shows like West Side Story, Evita, In the Heights, La Bohéme, Damn Yankees, A Cinderella Christmas. He also has been featured in the TV and Film industry as he starred in, Hail Caesar!
