EN20 Reading Strategies

Reading Strategies is an intensive reading intervention program designed to meet the needs of students whose reading achievement is below the proficient level.  The course directly addresses individual needs through adaptive and instructional software, high interest literature, and direct instruction in reading skills.  The course is designed to supplement the regular English classes.  Students enrolled in Reading Strategies will also be concurrently enrolled in a regular English course.  (May be repeated for credit)  Course only available at Title I schools.
Prerequisites:  Students who have not passed AIMS Reading & Writing
