ES45 Basic Comprehensive Health 11-12

Basic Comprehensive Health is designed for students who are significantly cognitively impaired, eligible to be assessed on the AIMS-A or ASAT state assessment and receive special education services.  The instruction is focused within the functional context of home, school, work, and community environments focusing on safety, self-help and care, and basic mobility.  The student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP) designates the standards for the class.  (A “P” or “F” grade only will be given.  This course is not used in GPA or Rank calculations.)
