ES61 Functional Daily & Living Skills 3-4

1 Year Functional Daily and Living Skills is designed for students who are significantly cognitively impaired, eligible to be assessed on the AIMS-A or ASAT state assessment and receive special education services.  The instruction is focused within the functional context of home, school, work, and community environments focusing on independence within contexts, self-help and care skills, and basic communication and mobility.  The student’s Individual Education Plan (IEP) designates the standards for the class.  (A “P” or “F” grade only will be given.  This course is not used in GPA or Rank calculations) (May be repeated for Credit) [Board Adopted 2005]
