Text Messaging for TUHSD Families

Mobile Phone The Tempe Union High School District will soon be sending emergency text messages and other important communication from a new short code: 67587.

Text communication is a fast and effective way to keep you informed in the event of an emergency, but we need your permission to use this critical communications tool.

On Monday evening, November 5, a text message will be sent to all Tempe Union families with text-capable mobile devices, asking you to accept TUHSD alerts. The message will read:

“Tempe Union High School District 213 messages. Reply Y to confirm, HELP 4 info.”

We strongly recommend families reply “Y” to accept text alerts.

Even if you received emergency text messages from the District in the past, you will still need to reply “Y” to ensure continued text communications.

Thank you for your support as we continually work to strengthen Tempe Union communication systems.
