McClintock, Tempe students bring joy during “Shop with a Cop”
Tempe Union High School students joined forces to give back to their local community. Students from McClintock and Tempe High participated in the 4th annual “Shop with a Cop” event, in partnership with Tempe Police.
McClintock Choir and Tempe de Mariachi performed at the event, while McClintock's Varsity Cheerleaders assisted young children pick out toys and goodies from a local WalMart.
Compadre Academy students participate in annual Guadalupe Christmas party
More than a dozen Compadre students helped kids decorate over 300 ornaments and painted over 200 faces at the annual Guadalupe Christmas party.
Desert Vista's Rho Kappa gives gifts to students in need
Desert Vista's Rho Kappa hosted an Angel Tree, sponsoring 70 tags for TAPP and McKinney Vento students in the district. Rho Kappa students brought in over $3,000 in gifts for our students in need. The Rho Kappa team was organized, friendly and gave up many lunches to work the tree. Great work!
Mountain Pointe baseball adopts families in annual Christmas Angels project
The Mountain Pointe baseball team adopted local families to give back to through their annual Christmas Angels project. Working with Cardon Children's Hospital, the team adopted three families who are all currently have a child fighting cancer.
Armed with a hefty wish list, the team shopped for eight children with donations from the community. They then wrapped all of the gifts, and several Seniors were chosen to make the deliveries.
