Mountain Pointe semi-annual Art Show celebrates creativity, diverse mediums

Mountain Pointe Art Show 2019

Mountain Pointe High School continues it's long tradition of celebrating student art through the Winter Art Show

The show, lead by Fine Arts Department Chair Steve Adams, is in its 27th year and highlights pieces from all levels of art courses offered at Mountain Pointe, including ceramics, graphic design, drawing and painting and photography.

Students were also conducting live demonstrations of drawing, painting, photography and graphic designing throughout the G-Lobby during the exhibition.

A panel of judges awarded the top student submissions with ribbons in categories like Best in Show and The Principal's Award.

The G-Wing Lobby will be open to the public for an evening showing from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on January 17, 2019. Light finger food will be provided.
