TUHSD Key Clubs bring home honors from regional convention

Key Club members from Corona del Sol and Tempe High attended the 2019 District Convention in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where several students and school groups brought home awards.

1st Place: Major Emphasis Project, The Suzy Foundation Walk

1st Place Talent Competition with the Mariachi de Tempe

2nd Place Single Service Project Platinum Division, The Gililland Book Fair

3rd Place Non-Traditional Scrapbook

3rd Place Overall Club Achievement Platinum Division 100 + Service Hours Award: Diana Gomez Newly elected Lieutenant Governor for the South Mountain District, Cinthia Bernal

2nd Place in Overall Achievement
1st Place for Single Service for our work with the Arizona foster care system
2nd Place for Major Emphasis for our work with the Sunset Library and STEAM
2nd Place for Poster, designed and hand painted by Hayden Eastwood
2nd Place for Talent, CJ Shin performed an amazing piece on the piano and received a standing ovation
