Tempe Union High School District schools offer spooky events, performances

Tempe Union High School District invites the community to participate in any of our upcoming family-friendly events and performances at our schools throughout the month of October.

Here's what's coming up:

Mountain Pointe Haunted House: Blood Moon

Join the Pride for their annual Haunted House! All proceeds benefit the Mountain Pointe Theatre Company. Caution: Haunted House is scary. Have smaller children? Take them through our Chicken Little House with no scares, only waves and high fives!

Oct. 18 & 19, 6pm to 9pm

Oct. 25 & 26, 6pm to 9pm

Tickets: $7 for students, $10 for adults

Corona del Sol Bonfire

Corona del Sol Student Council presents the annual Bonfire! The Bonfire is the annual school spirit-raising event to bring the whole Student Body together for a large night of fun, food and fire. Join us for games, activity booths and more.

Thursday, Oct. 24, 6pm to 9pm

Admission: 10 canned goods, 2 pairs of gently used shoes or $10 donation.

Corona del Sol Trunk or Treat

Join us for our 3rd Annual Community Trunk or Treat! Fun and treats for the whole family. Costumes encouraged.

Monday, Oct. 28, 6:00pm to 7:30pm

McClintock High School Bonfire

McClintock Student Council presents the annual Bonfire! Join us for games, activity booths, live music, food and more. The Bonfire will light around 6:20pm.

Wednesday, Oct. 30, 5:30pm to 8pm

McClintock High School Football Field

Admission: 5 canned food items or $4 cash donation.

Desert Vista Theatre presents: TRAP

Plot summary: An incomprehensible event: Every person in the audience of a high school play falls unconscious - every person but one. Using interviews with witnesses, loved ones, first responders and the investigators pursuing the case, a theatre ensemble brings the story of the strange event to life, documentary-style.

Mountain Pointe Theatre presents: Dracula, The Bloody Truth

Vampire hunter Abraham Van Helsing sets the record straight about how Bram Stoker turned the true story of Count Dracula into pulp fiction.
